We specialize in concierge level medicine providing Internal Medicine as well as Geriatric Medicine specialties. We are a small medical practice providing efficient care to a limited number of patients that sign up for yearly memberships. Once the maximum number of patients is reached, enrollment will be discontinued, and those interested in joining will have to be wait-listed until such time when patient slots are vacated, or additional physicians are added to the practice.
But why limit our number of patients?
Well, just about every clinic limits the amount of patients it will accept. The real question is how many patients are an acceptable amount. With most clinics allocating about 2000 patients to each physician, it is easy to notice the quantitative care component of such a high number. More elusive is the level of quality each of these physicians can capably provide.
By concentrating on fewer patients, a physician can provide a much higher level of quality medical care. Compared to the average medical practice, Beringer Medical Group will limit its patient census to roughly 20% of that total per physician.

We prefer quality care over quantity care!
Although medicine has undoubtedly reached a level of unparalleled knowledge in research, standards of clinical care, most physicians no longer have the time to stay on top of the latest information. Medical research is providing ever increasing tools for the most advanced care available with interventions, procedures, pharmaceuticals, and treatment plans.
Unfortunately, physicians are now so busy that providing up-to-date, evidence based care, may quickly become a thing of the past. With ever increasing financial constraints on our medical system such as restrictive private insurers and decreasing reimbursement rates from Medicare and Medicaid, clinics, hospitals, and other health care providers are invariably forced to increase the number of patients allocated to each doctor.

We believe this alignment is backwards and not in the interest of a patient deserving the best level of personal medical care.
