Laura Beringer is Board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM) in Internal Medicine and Geriatrics having received her training at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine. Laura has been recognized as a diplomat by the American Board of Obesity Medicine (ABOM). She also trained at Jackson Memorial Hospital and the Miami VA, and has worked at Martin Memorial outpatient clinics. She has also received her Master’s degree in Epidemiology and Public heath and has extensive experience in the field of surgery, transplant surgery, organ retrieval and transplant coordination, and education prior to receiving her medical degree.

CFO

Mr. Beringer presently serves as CFO and OSHA Compliance Officer and contributes some 20 years of executive-level leadership experience with overall business decision-making authority. Mr. Beringer is actively engaged in his community serving and supporting local foster care and adoption organizations. Since 2005, Alex has been an active member, and currently serves as Chairperson, of the Martin County Airport Noise Advisory Committee (ANAC). He was formerly the Treasurer of the Economic Council of Martin County and served on its Board of Directors. Alex is married to Dr. Laura and both live in Palm City with their four children. He's an avid and passionate endurance athlete and spends his free time training and racing marathons.

Office Manager

Johanna serves as the Office Manager, helping oversee daily clinic operations, patient communications, scheduling, and administrative coordination. As a college student pursuing her Associate of Arts degree and working toward a bachelor’s degree in Business, she combines her academic studies with hands-on experience in healthcare administration. She also helped develop Navigate Meds, a patient-support service focused on assisting individuals with healthcare needs while traveling. Her leadership, organization, and attention to detail help create an efficient and welcoming experience for both patients and staff.

Outside of the clinic, Johanna is passionate about the outdoors and conservation. She enjoys hunting in both Florida and Alaska alongside her Wirehaired Pointing Griffon, Whiskey, and is an avid scuba diver, competitive clay shooter, angler, and wildlife photographer. Her dedication, work ethic, and enthusiasm bring value to every aspect of her professional and personal life.
